Widow Marries New Man - 1 Year Later She Discovers Who He Really Is...

This woman had been through a lot in recent years. She had found the love of her life at a young age, but lost him in a freak accident. She thought she'd never be able to love anyone else after this.

But nothing could be further from the truth, because after a long period alone, love struck her again. This new man was amazing. So great they even decided to get married.

But after 1 year together, she discovered his big secret. She found out who he really was...

Brenda (51) has been friends with Dave (52) since high school. They were longtime best buddies and preferred to spend every moment of every day together. They were regularly seen holding hands at school.

And even their parents thought they were in a relationship. But the feeling just wasn't there. They occasionally thought there was a little spark, but they still ended up hanging in the friend zone.

And as the years went by, the two lost contact. Brenda found a new man, and Dave was left alone.

But all of a sudden everything changed!

Because after years of radio silence, something terrible happened. Brenda's husband died in a car accident and she was left broken. She needed support in her life. And all of a sudden, there was Dave.

He came back into her life at just the right time and made all the difference. At first, they were there for each other again as friends.

But slowly something beautiful blossomed between the two. At least that seemed so. After a few years together, they even married. Everything seemed great.

But one photo moment at their wedding dinner changed everything...

The woman never thought that one photo could have such incredible consequences for their relationship. She just wanted a reminder of their amazing wedding day.

The wedding day was great. He even secretly arranged for her favorite meal, "lobster," to be served. Everyone was happy and the bride laughed with happiness. Champagne flowed abundantly, they ate lobster and looked into each other's eyes all the time. But when the woman looked at the photo the next day, she noticed something she didn't think was possible in a million years.

Utterly shocked, she zoomed in on her husband's hand.

"This can't be true!"

Brenda never saw this coming. She was so incredibly happy that she couldn't wait to take the next step in their relationship. Quietly, she hoped Dave would propose over dinner. She'd say yes in full!

That would be the icing on top of the cake right now. At dinner, she wanted to take a picture of the two of them, because then she would always remember how special this evening was. So she asked a random stranger at the restaurant to take a picture of the two.

The man shared the excitement and took the photo that would completely turn her life around!

They just had their lobster. Dave knew Brenda loved lobster. In Thailand during their romantic getaway, she fell in love with this expensive delicacy. It was lovely there, hanging out with elephants and of course with her now new love!

Lobster was a lot cheaper there. But Dave, who had a good job as a lawyer, made sure Brenda could eat as much of her favorite meal as she wanted that night. And to top it all off, he did ask her to marry him.

A beautiful ring was on her finger. She wanted to capture this moment and that's why she asked the waiter to take a picture of them.

But when they took the picture, Dave suddenly started acting weird!

Dave didn't really want to take the picture. While Brenda asked the man for a snap of them, Dave continued to protest. He repeatedly shouted that he did not want to be photographed; the memory of this evening would suffice.

Brenda was persistent and insisted on capturing the moment. The man got up and pointed the phone in their direction. Dave put on a nervous smile and tried to get the photo over as quickly as possible. But Brenda had the man take it three times. She wanted a selection to choose from.

Dave kept smiling nervously in every photo. Knowing that deep down, he carried a huge secret!

The day after their amazing night, Brenda browsed through the selection of photos taken the night before. Her smile was there. While watching, she suddenly thought of her amazing life:

"I'm so glad I met Dave. The blow after my late husband was terrible and I was so depressed. Ever since I met Dave, I realize how important it is to my happiness that I'm with a good man!"

She scrolled through the photos to see which one she wanted to print. They were all beautiful.

But then she saw something in one photo that caught her attention!

It was the first picture they took that night. Immediately afterwards Dave protested that he didn't want to go on it.

The nerves are splashing off him. He had such a weird smile on that was fake and just didn't look natural. Weirdly, he was the decorator himself all night, until all of a sudden he got extremely nervous.

Recalling that night, she suddenly realized that his behavior changed right after she asked that random man to take the photo. Suddenly, she was shocked when she slowly zoomed in on her husband's hand.

"Please tell me this isn't true!"

Her eyes fell on Dave's hand and it suddenly became clear: Why he always knew how to say the right thing. Why he always knew what she was thinking. Why he always showed so much empathy. It all became clear. He always said he understood women so well because he had a lot of sisters. Every week he goes out to dinner with them.

His hand reminded her of a documentary in which an anthropological study concluded that men who have that on their hands are very likely to fall within a certain group.

A startled Brenda dropped her phone and after her moment of sobriety.

It was time to confront Dave!

That afternoon, she waited for Dave to come home from work. How would she confront him? She just decided to lay everything out on the table in the hope that he would convince her that nothing would be true. The realization that her life would potentially fall apart made her extremely sad. It was hard to believe Dave could do this to her.

Dave came home and saw Brenda sitting on the couch crying. He sat down next to her and asked her what was going on. His eyes fell on the coffee table on which her phone was lying with the photo on the screen. After he saw this, he realized she'd found out.

He confessed everything!

He looked at Brenda, wiped away her tears, and said,

"There's something I need to tell you, honey. The man who took the picture that night wasn't just a stranger. I told you I'd never been in a relationship, but that's not true. Secretly, I had one serious relationship I never dared share with the world.

That photographer was my ex-boyfriend. Out of nowhere, he was there, and I didn't know what to do. I'm really not attracted to women."

Brenda nodded and told me she saw this coming. And she had a very special message for Dave...

"I remembered them talking about your tattoo in a documentary. It is a popular symbol in the gay community. I always thought it was something else."

Dave was ashamed that he had lied for so long. All he could do now was hope that one day, things would work out between the two.

But Brenda didn't think so!

Brenda wiped away his tears and said it was all right. Their relationship was too good to be true. The times they had lived together were amazing. She was very upset that they were over but realized there was nothing he could do about it. As long as he promised never to lie to her about himself again.

They hugged each other and cried in each other's arms! After that experience, Dave finally came out, and he did so with the help of his best friend Brenda.

Brenda introduced her to a colleague who she thought would be a perfect fit for him. And she was right because cupid soon struck.

The 2 are now engaged and have appointed Brenda as their joint bridesmaid and witnesses!
